Privacy Policy

Draft notice: This is a plain-language starting draft, not a substitute for formal legal review. If Bark Battle grows or starts operating in regions with strict data-protection law (e.g. GDPR/CCPA), this page should be reviewed by a lawyer before that.

1. What we collect

Account info: the nickname and password you register with (passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication — we never see or store your raw password).
Gameplay data: match results, points, wins/losses, streaks, and leaderboard standing.
Microphone audio: processed live on your device to measure bark loudness during a match, and checked by an AI sound classifier that also runs entirely on your device to tell real barks from talking, music or generated sounds. We do not record, store, or upload your raw voice audio — only the resulting volume/score data is saved.
Reward wallet address: if you choose to set one, so we know where to send Daily ETH Race prizes and $BARK withdrawals. This is a public wallet address, not a private key or seed phrase — we never ask for either. Sending tokens to it creates a public blockchain transaction on Robinhood Chain.
Anti-cheat data: to stop farming we keep match timing, a daily count of matches per network (stored as a one-way hash, not your raw IP address), and flags on suspicious matches.
Live voice chat (optional): if you turn on "Rivals hear me," your voice is streamed to your live opponent for that match only — directly peer-to-peer, or through an encrypted relay server when a direct connection isn't possible (common on mobile data). It is not recorded or stored by us.

2. What we don't do

We never ask for your seed phrase or private key. A Reward Wallet address can only receive — we have no ability to move funds out of it.
We don't sell your data to third parties.
We don't record or store your microphone audio.

3. Where data is stored

Account and gameplay data is stored in Firebase (Google Cloud), used for authentication and the realtime database that powers matchmaking, leaderboards, and chat.

4. Your choices

You can turn off live voice sharing ("Off · Private") before any match — bark detection still works without it.
You can remove your saved Reward Wallet address at any time from the Reward Wallet panel.
You can delete your account by contacting us (see below); this removes your player record from our database.

5. Children

Bark Battle isn't directed at children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we'll remove it.
